A wedding at Red Rock Casino is basically the perfect example of how a Las Vegas wedding can feel luxury, stylish, and still insanely fun all at the same time. Gabby & DJ’s day had everything, black tie fashion, a gorgeous resort venue, editorial-inspired details, emotional moments, and a dance floor that turned into complete chaos by the end of the night in the best way possible. Honestly, this wedding felt like such a refreshing reminder that Vegas weddings don’t have to fit into one box. You can have the luxury resort experience, the cool editorial vibe, the fun casino energy, and still have a wedding that feels personal and relaxed. The entire experience with these two was amazing from start to finish, and it’s exactly the kind of wedding I’d love to photograph more of!

Getting Ready for Their Wedding at Red Rock Casino

Gabby absolutely nailed the aesthetic for this day. Everything felt sleek, modern, and intentional without trying too hard. The black-and-white details tied everything together so well, from the checkered styling pieces to the bridesmaids in black dresses to the clean white florals throughout the day. Even her accessories felt thought out in the best way. Pearls, bows, classic jewelry, and little personal touches made everything feel elevated while still feeling like them.

The vibe while everyone was getting ready was honestly just easy and fun. No stress, no chaos, no giant production. Just everyone hanging out, getting excited, and soaking the day in together. Gabby looked unreal in her fitted satin gown, and the whole look fit the venue perfectly. One thing I loved about working with these two was the amount of trust they gave me creatively. They weren’t worried about recreating exact Pinterest photos or over-controlling every part of the timeline. They trusted me to guide the experience and create photos that actually reflected who they are, and that always makes such a difference.

Why This Wedding at Red Rock Casino Worked So Well

What makes this story even cooler is that DJ originally found me last summer when he was planning his proposal for Gabby. He reached out from out of state trying to create something special for her in Vegas, and somewhere between planning that proposal and photographing it, we built a really solid connection. So when they got engaged and started planning the wedding, they came back to Vegas and back to me, which honestly meant a lot!

A few days before the wedding, I went to Red Rock Casino ahead of time to fully scout everything out. I walked the property, checked lighting, introduced myself to staff, and coordinated a few photo ideas I already had in mind. I worked with the pit boss ahead of time so we could get roulette table photos with the bridal party, and I connected with the Rouge Room team because I already knew that space would fit their vibe perfectly. By the wedding day, I already had a game plan for where we’d shoot, how we’d move through the day, and where the best light would be. Stuff like that may seem small, but it completely changes how smooth and relaxed the experience feels for couples.

Editorial Portraits, Casino Photos & The Rouge Room

This venue seriously gives you so much to work with creatively. One second we were outside taking clean, classic portraits surrounded by greenery and palm trees, and the next we were inside creating moodier flash photos on the casino floor. The variety throughout their gallery is one of my favorite things about it because every section of the day felt different without losing the overall vibe.

The Rouge Room portraits were probably some of my favorites from the whole wedding. The lighting, the velvet booths, the dark red tones, it all felt very cool without trying too hard. Gabby & DJ looked like they belonged there honestly. Then we shifted into casino floor photos with the bridal party around the roulette table, which brought in this fun Vegas energy that balanced everything out perfectly. The entire gallery ended up feeling romantic, edgy, stylish, and playful all at once, which honestly describes these two perfectly.

A Black Tie Reception That Turned Into a Full-On Party

The reception setup was SO good. Black draping, candlelight, the black-and-white dance floor, live saxophone during cocktail hour, everything felt upscale but still welcoming and fun instead of overly formal. Once the sun started setting through those giant windows, the whole room completely transformed. Every detail photographed beautifully without feeling stiff or overly staged.

And then the dance floor opened and all bets were off. The energy that night was insane in the best way. Everyone was dancing nonstop, bubbles were flying everywhere, people were screaming lyrics, drinks were up in the air, it was one of those receptions where you could just feel how much fun everyone was having. Right before the night ended, I pulled Gabby & DJ aside for one last little surprise setup I had planned. I found a checkered plate beforehand because it matched their dance floor perfectly, and styled a late-night flat lay with their cake, sunglasses, pearls, champagne glasses, and florals. It ended up being such a fun final detail to close out the gallery and honestly felt so them.
