A Full Las Vegas Elopement Experience | Melissa & Pauric’s 5-Hour Adventure
If you want the full Vegas treatment on your wedding day, give yourself enough time to actually enjoy it. Melissa & Pauric’s five-hour Las Vegas elopement experience is the perfect example. We bounced from the Strip to their chapel ceremony and eventually Downtown, mixing those iconic, only-in-Vegas moments with plenty of classic portraits along the way. They fully trusted me to bring their vision to life, which meant we could build a timeline that felt fun, intentional, and very them without having to rush from one spot to the next.
Starting Their Las Vegas Elopement Experience on the Strip
We started at the Cosmopolitan, where Melissa & Pauric got ready before heading out for photos. And can we talk about Melissa’s mini wedding dress? It was made for Vegas. From those first getting-ready moments to sneaking in a few casino photos, we were able to start telling the story of their day before we even left the hotel.
From there, we made our way to Bellagio and Venetian. They wanted to lean into the Vegas vibes, but they also wanted their gallery to have those more romantic, polished moments mixed in. These locations gave us exactly that. The architecture, greenery, and classic Strip backdrops added a totally different look to their gallery while still feeling like we were very much in Vegas.
A Classic Vegas Ceremony at Little White Wedding Chapel
Of course, we needed a little classic Vegas wedding energy in the mix. Melissa & Pauric headed to Little White Wedding Chapel for their ceremony, and it was the perfect switch-up after their portraits on the Strip. The chapel brought in that nostalgic, playful side of Vegas without taking over the entire feel of their day.
After they made it official, we took advantage of the chapel grounds for more portraits, including the pink Cadillac because, obviously. This is one of my favorite things about planning a longer elopement timeline. You don’t have to choose between the fun, kitschy Vegas moments and the more elevated photos. You can have both.
Ending a Five-Hour Las Vegas Elopement Experience Downtown
Our last stop was Downtown Las Vegas, and it was such a fun way to finish the day. By this point, Melissa & Pauric were completely settled in and just having a good time together. We wandered around, played with the lights and signs, and let Downtown bring a little more personality into their gallery.
That variety is exactly why I love a full five-hour Las Vegas elopement experience. We weren't trying to cram an entire wedding day into one location or race through a checklist of photos. There was time to move around, try different things, and create a gallery that had a little bit of everything, classic portraits, casino energy, Vegas nostalgia, and plenty of moments that simply felt like Melissa & Pauric.
